By visiting veneCacao.com or purchasing products or services from VeneCacao, you accept the practices described in this policy. This policy applies to information collected through our website, order forms, email communications, phone orders, and in-person transactions.

    • Event-related information: venue address, event date/time, guest counts, special instructions, contract/agreement details.

    • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type/version, device identifiers, pages visited, referrer URL, date/time stamps, and cookie data recorded in server logs.
  • Third-party sources:
    • Information from service providers (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers) and, where applicable, information you choose to provide through social login or third-party platforms

3. How we use your information (Purposes and lawful bases)

We use your information for these purposes:

  • To process and fulfill orders, ship products, handle returns and refunds, and provide order confirmations and updates (necessary for contract performance).
  • To communicate about events, bookings, deposits, balances, and cancellations (necessary for contract performance).

12. Refund, returns, and shipping policies (operational)

  • Refund policy
    • All sales are final. No refunds are offered and no returns will be accepted unless otherwise required by applicable law. Deposits for event orders are non-refundable as explained in the Event Cancellation Policy.
  • Shipping & delivery
    • Order preparation: Small orders require a minimum of 2 days to prepare.
    • Shipping windows by season:
      • Cool season (approx. October 15 – April 15): orders ship within two days of purchase.
      • Warm season (approx. April 15 – October 15): orders ship only on Monday or Tuesday; orders placed Wednesday–Sunday will be held until the next Monday/Tuesday to reduce heat exposure risk.
    • Carriers: We use UPS and FedEx (carrier selection determined by VeneCacao). We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
    • Signature required: A person of legal age must be available to sign for deliveries; orders cannot be left unsigned or with minors.
    • Shipping charges: Shipping and handling costs will be listed at checkout for your review. VeneCacao may absorb a portion of shipping charges to minimize costs to customers.

13. Event payment and cancellation policies (operational)

  • Event payment
    • A 50% deposit is required for all event orders once the agreement is signed.
    • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event.
    • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and corporate checks.
  • Event cancellation
    • Customers may cancel an event/order up to 60 days prior to the event without being required to pay the full balance; however, the deposit will be retained to cover purchased materials. We may evaluate exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
