VENECACAO POLICY

We are known for using the highest quality raw materials, prepared by our artisan chocolatiers with over 10 years of experience in the business utilizing Venezuelan cacao that is widely known as the best cacao in the world.

Our commitment to you as our customer is to elaborate the highest quality and variety of chocolates in size, aroma and flavor deliver in an elegant and luxurious presentation with an unforgettable taste since we take pride in our work, along with excellence in service.

Venecacao LLC Chocolateria advices our customer/venues to maintain our products in an air conditioning environment, room temperature (72°f), away from the heat not expose to direct sun light and or outside air exposure.

Once our chocolates product line (bon-bon, truffle and/or dessert) are delivered or picked up by the customer, venue or assigned person we are not held responsible for the wellbeing of our product since we advise our clients on product handling.

REFUND POLICY

All sales are final and no refunds are offered. No returns will be accepted.

Shipping Policy/Delivery Policy

Please be assured that your order will be fresh since we need a minimum of 2 days on small order to prepare it since we do everything from scratch. While shipping during the cool half of the year (approximately October 15 of one year through approximately April 15 of the following year) your order will ship out within two days of purchase. During the warm half of the year (approximately April 15 to October 15 of each year) your order will only ship on Monday or Tuesday. This means that during the warm half of the year, orders received on Wednesday through Sunday will be held until the following Monday or Tuesday. The reason for this limited shipping window is that hot weather can damage the quality of our chocolate and VeneCacao wants to limit as far as possible the chance that your order could sit in a hot truck or warehouse over a weekend. As long as our chocolate is keeps moving there is a very limited chance of heat related damage.

We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that we will use are United Parcel Service (UPS) and Federal Express (FEDEX) . Sorry, we will not ship to P.O. Boxes. Also note that someone of legal age must be available to sign for your chocolate order when it is delivered. Our orders cannot be left unsigned for and cannot be left with a minor.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS:

Our e-commerce site will list your shipping charges with your order and you will have a chance to review your shipping costs before actually placing the order. Note that we will absorbs much of the shipping cost in order to minimize your order’s total amount.

EVENT PAYMENT POLICY

Our payment must be paid in full.  A fifty percent deposit is required for all orders once the agreement is signed.  The Balance of the order must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event

Payment Methods Accepted will be Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Corporate Checks.

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Our policy indicates that you can cancel the order/event 60 days prior to the event, without being held accountable to pay the full balance.  Unfortunately, the deposit given will be kept since chocolate and material was purchased and projected to cover such order.  We will consider case by case do to the circumstances

PRIVACY POLICY

Here at VeneCacao we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone and will only use your personal information in the normal course of serving you and filling your orders.

SECURITY POLICY

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. The SSL software encrypts all of your personal information, including credit/debit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet by anyone who is not authorized to do so and can only be used in the normal course of processing your credit/debit card payment.
